HISTORY
Cabalinadan High School is approximately three kilometers away from the mother school, San Rafael National High School situated in Tigaon, Camarines Sur with a total land area of 5,000 square meters facing west direction and near the foot hill of Mount Isarog. The school was donated by the barangay Council of Cabalinadan.Dr. Salvacion E. Largo, principal II of SRNHS worked hard for the realization of this project in coordination with theCabalinadan barangay council chaired by Hon. Barangay Captain Edgar P. Reyes, Local Government Unit of Tigaon headed by the Hon. Mayor Arnulf Bryan B. Fuentebella and the Department of Education of the province of Camarines Sur represented by Mrs. Emma I. Cornejo, Schools Division Superintendent. CHS was issued the permit to operate on April 3, 2012 at Legaspi City by the Regional Director, Dr. Orfilina Q. Tuy, CESO IV.
CHS started to operate from first year to third year levels in a makeshift building. There were four teachers who handled the subjects. Three of them were Locally Funded teachers and 1 nationally funded teacher. Now that the school is recognized by the Department of Education, six permanent teacher items were given plus one deployed item coming from SRNHS. At present, CHS has fourteen (14) concrete classrooms. One of which is used as administrative office and at the same time a faculty room. The total number of enrollees is Two Hundred Seventy (270) students with eight (8) permanent mentors including the school head. The school had solicited two (2) desktop computer units from the San Rafael National High School Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tigaon, Camarines Sur respectively. The transformation of the school is due to the shared efforts of the administration, teachers, parents, students, and other stakeholders who responded to the urgent call of the significant needs of our valued clienteles, our students. Fidel P. Beltran, Jr. is the present School Head of Cabalinadan High School, Tigaon, Camarines Sur. He is a former faculty member of San Ramon Pilot High School of the Lagonoy District. He is a resident of barangay Salogon, municipality of San Jose and the province of Camarines Sur. THE SCHOOL SERVES WITH PRIDE AND DIGNITY. LONG LIVE CABALINADAN HIGH SCHOOL. |
